1. Preheating Phase:

Evenly arrange the pre-treated Chinese medicinal materials on trays and place them in the drying room. Set the temperature to 35-40°C and dry for approximately half an hour.

2. Heating Phase

Set the temperature to 40-45°C. Depending on the type of medicinal material, the drying time can range from two to six hours. During this phase, attention should be paid to dehumidification to quickly remove moisture from the surface of the medicinal materials to prevent discoloration.

3. Dehumidification Stage

Control the temperature between 45°C and 50°C for 2 to 4 hours. During this stage, avoid excessive temperatures and humidity to prevent loss of the medicinal materials' value. Dehumidification must be carried out promptly.

4. Shaping Stage

When the medicinal materials have lost approximately 70% of their moisture, raise the temperature to above 55°C, but not exceeding 70°C, for 2 to 3 hours. Dry the materials until the moisture content drops below the desired 13%.
