Tremella Fungus Drying Process

After harvesting, trim the base of the fungus and remove any debris. Then, soak the fungus in clean water for 40-60 minutes to allow it to fully absorb the moisture. Rinse thoroughly. Remove any debris adhering to the stalks, leaving them translucent and translucent. This process also allows the fruiting bodies to become fluffy and the buds to expand, resulting in a beautiful appearance and well-shaped flowers. Place the soaked and cleaned Tremella fuciformis, petals facing up, on the sieve. After the water has slightly dried, place the Tremella fuciformis in the drying room for drying.
The initial drying temperature is 40°C. Avoid excessively high temperatures, as this can cause curling and irregular shrinkage. When the moisture content of the Tremella fuciformis drops to approximately 30%, proceed to the second drying stage.
Raise the drying room temperature to 50-60°C and dry for 6-10 hours. When the tremella fuciformis are nearly dry but the base is still not completely dry, lower the temperature to 30-40°C until the dried Tremella fuciformis is dry. The moisture content of the finished product is between 10% and 12%.
