In large-scale yam drying equipment, yam slices are conveyed via a feed conveyor belt to the top mesh belt of the drying chamber. As the mesh belt moves in an "S" shape from the top to the bottom, the hot air in the oven penetrates the yam slices layer by layer. The slices are then dried layer by layer as they are rotated by the multiple layers of mesh belts until they are completely dried. The dried yam slices are discharged from the outlet at the bottom of the oven.
